Another Museum on my List!

Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum

It’s not that the Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum in Crosbyton, TX is brand new, but I just added it to my link list.

The info on their website is mostly several years old, so I e-mailed them.  They e-mailed me right back and said they’re still open, so I put them up!  I still don’t know if they’re putting out a newsletter or not, so if you’re interested, you’ll have to contact them yourselves.

Probably the coolest thing they have on the website is their fossil catalogue.  Again, I don’t know how many of these they still have for sale, but the pictures are fascinating.

I especially enjoyed their reconstruction of a Psittacosaurus (no, I can’t say it either).  Since they didn’t link to the original story about a little on of these dinos being eaten by a mammal, I found it online.  Here’s the original report: Scientists Find Dinosaur-eating Mammal.

So, if you’re ever near the Texas Panhandle, you might want to stop in an have a visit!

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.  And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:24,25
