Encouragement for All Willing to Speak Out God’s Truth

A friend of ours posted this, but wished to remain anonymous, so I’m copying and pasting it here. May you find strength and courage as I did!

Gédéon (vers 1550), huiles sur bois de Martin ...

“I was given the opportunity to challenge our men and myself with the message of Gideon in the Book of Judges.

It is amazing what God does and can do when he finds a Partner.

WHEN GOD LOOKS FOR A PARTNER | COMMITMENT:

Judges 7:18 When I blow with a trumpet, I and all that are with me, then blow ye the trumpets also on every side of all the camp, and say, The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon.

INTRODUCTION:

God was looking for a partner.

It was not because God could not defeat the Midianites alone.

It was because God chose to work through human instrumentality.

This is often the case in both Old Testament and New.

Prayer

When God looks for a partner, what kind of person does He want?

DO YOU QUALIFY?

I. When God Looks for a Partner He Looks for a Person of Faith.

II. When God Looks for a Partner He Looks for an Obedient Person.

III. When God Looks for a Partner He Looks for a Humble Person.

IV. When God Looks for a Partner He Looks for a Person who Seeks No Praise.

Delanie praying

V. When God Looks for a Partner He Looks for a Person Who Seeks No Power.

VI. When God Looks for a Partner He Looks for a Person Who Seeks No Personal Gain.

CONCLUSION:

What happens when God finds such a partner?

Israel enjoyed 40 years of peace!”
