There’s Only One Reason Any Human Being is Valuable

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: Genesis 1:26a

But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered [by God]. Fear not therefore: you are of more value than many sparrows. Luke 12:7

How much then is a man better than a sheep? Matthew 12:12a

Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.  But Jesus said, Let little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 19:13-14

But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Mark 10:14

But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Luke 18:16

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with people, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. Revelation 21:3

In ICR’s new video series, “Unlocking the Mysteries of Genesis,” Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson makes the point that from the moment sperm and egg unite, the zygote has the complete set of blue prints for the newly created individual inscribed in the DNA. There is no time when that baby is not fully human – made in the image of God. 🙂
